1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mindful Dining website at mindfuldining.app or making a reservation through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Guest") and Mindful Dining ("we", "us", or "our"), operating in Amravati, Maharashtra, India.

2 Our Service

Mindful Dining is a social dining experience platform. We are not a restaurant. Our service involves:

• Collecting a ₹199 matchmaking fee to reserve your spot at a curated group dinner
• Administering a personality "Vibe Check" questionnaire to understand your dining preferences
• Algorithmically matching you with compatible strangers for a shared dining experience
• Assigning your group to a partner restaurant in Amravati for an 8:00 PM dinner
• Sending you a "Big Reveal" email 48 hours before your dinner with restaurant and table details

3 Eligibility

To use Mindful Dining, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Provide accurate and complete personal information during registration
• Have a valid email address to receive booking confirmation and event details
• Be located in or be willing to travel to Amravati, Maharashtra for the dining event

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion, including in cases of suspected misuse, false information, or inappropriate behaviour in previous events.

4 Booking & Payment

All bookings are subject to availability. A reservation is confirmed only upon successful payment of the ₹199 matchmaking fee and receipt of a booking confirmation email to your registered email address.

• Payments are processed securely through our payment partner
• Refunds on the ₹199 matchmaking fee are available as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy — including a full refund for cancellations made 7 or more days before the event
• One booking corresponds to one guest at one event date
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances
• In the event of a cancellation by Mindful Dining, a full refund of the ₹199 fee will be issued

5 Guest Conduct

Mindful Dining is built on the belief that respectful, open conversations make great evenings. By attending an event, you agree to:

• Treat fellow guests with dignity and respect regardless of background, belief, or personality
• Abide by the guidelines in our Etiquette Guide
• Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or any behaviour that makes others uncomfortable
• Not share personal contact details of other guests without their explicit consent
• Arrive on time — 8:00 PM at the assigned restaurant
• Comply with the rules and policies of the partner restaurant

We reserve the right to remove guests from an event or ban them from future events for violating these conduct standards, without a refund.

6 Limitation of Liability

Mindful Dining acts as a matchmaking and curation service only. We are not responsible for:

• The quality of food, service, or experience at partner restaurants
• The behaviour of other guests at the event
• Any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred at the dining venue
• Compatibility outcomes — we use a personality algorithm but cannot guarantee personal connections
• Technical issues affecting email delivery of booking confirmations or event details

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mindful Dining's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the booking (₹199).

7 Privacy & Data

We collect personal information including your name, email, phone number, neighborhood, dining preferences, and personality quiz responses. This information is used solely to:

• Process your booking and send you event-related communications
• Match you with compatible dining companions using our grouping algorithm
• Improve our matching and curation service over time

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except our service providers (Firebase, Resend, and our payment partner) who process data on our behalf. Your personality quiz results are never shared publicly.

By submitting your booking, you consent to receiving transactional emails from hello@mindfuldining.app including booking confirmations, the Big Reveal, and post-dinner feedback requests.

8 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Amravati, Maharashtra, India.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

9 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
